Terrible meal. We had booked 3 weeks ago and arrived to be told they didn't have a table for us. We were a party of 16 and they couldn't put us together on one table like we had booked so we were on separate tables. They hadn't the time to clean up so there was food and other waste on the floor under the tables we were given.I enjoyed my mixed grill but others were given very poor quality food and we had to send a couple of meals back due to being cold or badly made. Which they thankfully replaced with better quality food. We requested a dairy free meal and they were unable to provide what we ordered instead they offered some green beans and peas. The drinks they served us were awful and we sent most of them back. We had the manageress running back and forth to fix our issues so often it became a running joke that she wasn't amused with.I would not recommend this place to eat or drink.Instead of taking away the stress and strain of organising a birthday meal for family and friends it resulted in causing much more and making us wish we had never bothered turning up.

Couldn't fault it, friendly staff what take and delivery your orders.. Food was tasty and well portioned for price! First time visit and was impressed! Family friendly 5 from me.

We went for my dad's birthday, food was delicious but we were sat as a group and some orders came out when everybody else had nearly finished eating. Then we ordered desserts and the waiter had to come out and take our order again because it hadn't gone through to the kitchen. Friendly staff, good food just slow service

Really good pub. Food was good. The hand dryers in the toilets nearest the soft play were not working and these toilets were not as clean as the toilets near the main doors. There is a soft play attached to the pub. Did not expect to have to pay extra to go in soft play as we were having a meal on the pub. Soft play is limited to 90 minutes at peak times and your table is booked for 2 hours. Whilst these terms are not a huge problem they should be made clear on the website and when you ring to book a table - it is a bit late to inform you when you have arrived and are sitting down. For this reason 4 stars, but would have been 5 otherwise.

Worst birthday meal out EVER!! Was expecting all you can eat buffet only to be rudely told that they stopped doing them 6 months ago. Ordered a large Haddock meal, but no tartar sauce as listed on the menu because they had ' ran out'. My friends fish was only about 60% fish and a big lump of batter. The mushy peas came in a pot on the plate, when emptied out there was barely 1/4 of a tin. Asked for a colouring sheet for my little boy. They had sheets but no crayons! We have used this place for 9 years, and it has certainly gone down the nick. We won't be rushing back in a hurry, and certainly won't be recommending it to any one as we once would have done. Very Dissatisfied. And only given it 1 star as it won't let me post 0 stars!
