Lovely family restaurant, lots of space to sit down, menu food is good the carvery is even better lots of choice good cuts of meat, only do pork and crackle on a Sunday
We had the lunch menu. 2 course for 7.50. Wow what a bargain. Ham egg chips and peas followed by crumble n custard. Beautiful. Pricey for the drinks though.
Although we arrived late in the afternoon around 3pm the carvery had finished so we chose from the main menu. The portion sizes were plenty full ( could be ENOUGH for 2 ) the food was only just warm we had a starter and main course both courses jusy warm.Lovely pub and lovely smiling welcoming staff
Carvery...... delicious. Meat was cooked nicely, not dried out. Vegetables ..... lovely, not over cooked.Staff we're professional and friendly.Will go again.
